On the page before the Peacock plate a pencil note to the blank margin relating to it as a stopping of place. Publishers' brown cloth gilt title to the upper cover within black border and leaf vignettes, leather spine label a very good + clean copy of the first edition so often found without the errata slip which comes between the frontis and title page.. Includes advice on fly tying and tackle much of which Ogden invented, Westwood & Satchell, p. 161.
