nd circa 1920.  Clyde Guide Book No 41.  G & M Clyde Bell,.  Glasgow.  64 pages, 4to illustrated throughout, the first 17pages are a guide to the sportsman covering buying and using guns , game and wild fowl shooting, trapping, dogs, etc. The remaining pages are a catalogue for various shotguns includes various bores, hammer and fine sidelocks, automatics also cartridge pistols, a gun with 3 barrels 2 barrels for 4.10 and one for.22. Inscription to the title page, "With the Authors Compliments and Thanks July 1907" crease to upper corner of front-end paper with small 2cm split, and chip to top edge. Publishers 2 tone 1/2 cloth brown spine over dark red boards, the original spine relayed showing some old loss to head and tail, some discoloration to the spine clot and corners. Gilt title to the upper cover fade mark to part of the rear cover.VG -. Nora Gardner accompanied her husband on a sporting trip through Kashmir and the Punjab. The hunting episodes are mainly related to her husband, she did try her hand at shooting a leopard released from a cage. An entertaining blend of travel, observation, and sport. Czech 84 [23507]

Armorial bookplate of William Nathaniel Fraser to front paster down. A vg copy in the original blue cloth with gilt hunting scene to upper board, the cloth clean and bright.
