World Cat gives Sir Richard Clayton as the author. A vg copy of a scarce title with author's presentation. Copac located 2 copies at the British Library and the National Library Of Scotland. Schwerdt Vol.2 268 illustrated the title page and notes "This treatise is composed principally of fragments collected from different publications and should be useful today to breeders of these noble beasts and lovers of so ancient sport"
