Coursing And Falconry
1892.
1st Edn,.
Longmans & Co.
xiii, 413 pages, Advert leaf, pages for the coursing section partly unopened, full page and text illus from drawings and photographs, some light spotting. SIGNEND and dated October 1924 on front end paper by Henry Williamson in blue ink with his Owl device. Publishers' pictorial brown cloth, the spine with a 3-inch 6 cm split to upper edge and to inner hinge, the spine faded, a good + copy. Hon Charles Lascelles wrote the falconry section. Henry Williamson a prolific nature writer wrote The Peregrine Saga in1923 a title much reprinted. Other than Williamsons signature there are a couple of pages with margin line in the blue ink, no other reference to or by him, one page has the lower outer corner removed just touching the text. Unusual that the pages of the falconry section have been opened but not the coursing.
