BALFOUR BROWNES COPY with his signature to front end paper also manuscript letter from AUGUSTAS GRIMBLE to Balfour Browne on the verso of a flyer for his new book "More Leaves From the Highlands" he discusses a friend of theirs mentioned in the book. Old offset tape mark to one edge where attached to the front paste down with similar mark in the book. Also 2 loose coloured folding promotional leaflets for a set of prints by Balfour Browne. A good association copy of the book, it was originally published in 2 separate volumes in 1888 and 1896. Both volumes are now combined and brought up to date. Grimble notes the greater part of his stalking experiences have been gained in the Forests of Corrour, Gaick, Invermank and Lochmore.
