Archival photographs and portraits of Hardy family members and staff, a large folding reproduction of an award from the International Fisheries Exhibition of 1883 at the rear of the book. Marbled end papers with a reproduction Hardy label on silk ties as a bookmark. A special limited edition of 350 numbered copies this being no 60 signed by John Drewett with a personal message again signed by John Drewett. Bound in a red faux leather with gilt reel vignette within double ruled gilt borders to the upper cover in matching slipcase, a fine copy. chronicles the history of the Alnwick firm of Hardy Brothers from its beginning, with full detail on the personalities involved and each of the firm's numerous types of reels. This special edition was issued to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Hardy's.
