Publishers' emerald, green cloth with red tile label, small scruff mark to the label. a very good copy. Crum experiences in the Boer War which made him an ardent supporter of the use of sniping. He was invited by General Skinner to join his staff of the 41st Brigade to run the snipers and intelligence unit, later starting a brigade school for sniping. A keen supporter of the boy scout movement.
