liii 286 pages, TEG, folio, illus with 52 facsimile photogravure plates and monotint reproduction with descriptive tissue guards with a forward by Theodore Roosevelt. 1 of a limited edition of 600 copies signed by Baillie Grohman and numbered this being 153, some spotting to the contents , but overall contents clean, Bound in the original brown reversed calf with the gilt circular seal of Edward 2nd Duke of York to the upper cover. Recased with the spine relayed showing some old loss and marking, rubbing to the lower outer corners. Unusual to find in the original binding in any state. One of the oldest and well-known books published in the English language on hunting deer, boat, fox, hare etc. Circa 1406-1413. Schwerdt Vol.2 page 305.
