Published full green morroco binding, with ornate gilt decorated border to the front and rear covers all edges gilt. A very good copy in a purpose made drop over box. The first edition of an important book, as it is the first to describe how to improve the quality of shooting by sound forestry. The plates are particularly fine and exquisite, "showing good impressions of the way in which our forebears killed their game" Schwerdt Vol II 127, Chute 536.
