Some spotting to prelims, armorial bookplate of Elliot Lees to front paste downs, with presentation inscription to him to blank verso of the frontis of vol 1. Bound in later not recent ? blue morroco marbled sides, the top edge gilt bound by "Wood of London". Light rubbing to lower corners. Baker trained and led a force to crush the slave trade, much of the book involves travel and the military exploits but there are several references to hunting.
