Cloth clean, slight even fading to spine, no splits. The scarce English edition, difficult to find in the original cloth. A narrative of 2 expeditions accompanied by Francis Galton to the Ovampo Country and the other he travelled by himself to Lake Ngami, the courage and endurance of the explorers was remarkable, few if any books give so full and complete account of Namapualand Damerland and the Ovampo Country Mendelssohn Vol. I p 44, Czech 5 an important work on African hunting in the 19th century.
