155 pages, advert leaf for Montague Browne Taxidermist + 19 page catalogue dated 1881 for books published by Upcott Gill inserted at rear, text and fill page illus, spotting to first few pages, in the original cloth with gilt tile and vignette of a tiger skin to upper board rubbing to head and tail of spine and lesser so to spine edges. Includes a 20 page chapter on trapping and decoying birds and animals. The British Library dates 1878 as the 1st published by the Bazaar, and 1884 for the 2nd published by Upcott Gill. I would think this is the 1878 bound with the later catalogue.
